The director of a new Voit athletics spec commercial has asked us to help him find athletes in the LA area for a shoot on Monday and Tuesday, March 11th and 12th in Venice.

We are looking for male and female athletes, ages 18-29, who have played volleyball, basketball or soccer at a collegiate or (semi-)professional level.

This will be a paid opportunity.

VONAGE is looking to do a real person casting. Ideal person should be attractive, fit, relatable, authentic, and likeable.
They are looking for real people who are dedicated to their friends and family, but whose work, hobbies or passions require them to travel. Whether quirky, mainstream or chic, we are looking for relatable and engaging stories.

Specifics:

You must be available for casting either this Tues 1/29 or Wed 1/30 from 12 – 6pm.

Casting the following athletes for a new college sports cable network. This will be for their televised sports show openers. We will need the following athletes and you must actually be able to play these sports/activities and not just look the part. Casting college age athletes only. Current NCAA athletes are NOT eligible for this shoot, no exceptions.

We will be providing most of the clothing so you will need to be available for a fitting one day next week July 23-28. The shoot dates are currently scheduled for July 31-August 2 and you will only be shooting one day out of the three in the LOS ANGELES AREA.

The rate is 200/day and we do not anticipate any player working more than 6-8 hours. Shoot is non-union. Please make sure that your profile contains very current photo and body shot of yourself in the appropriate attire for the sport you are submitting for, photos do not have to be professional but we need to be able to see what you look like now, so photos you’ve taken yourself are totally fine.

Sports Studio is looking for a Male baseball player, ages 18-35. Specifically we are looking for a Yu Darvish body double.

You do not have to be a pitcher, but you need to be athletic and have baseball experience. You should be right handed and be between 6’3-6’7 in height and 210-225 lbs. Ethnicity is not an issue. This job is Non-Union.

Sports Studio is helping our friends at Catrett-Locke Casting (CLC) look for baseball players for the new feature film, ’42, based on the Jackie Robinson story. We will be looking for experienced baseball players, between the ages of 22 and 38. Training Camp and Shooting will take place through the end of June.

This film will be shot primarily in the Atlanta, GA and Tennessee areas. Interviews will be held on March 27th and 28th at:
